From December 7 to 9, Dubai will host the second international rhythmic gymnastics tournament DuGym Cup 2017.
The event will host 286 athletes from 21 countries and will be held at Al Manara Sports Hall Sports Club with the support of the Dubai Sports Council. Group and individual competitions are provided.
The Russian side plans to participate Evgenia Kanaeva, two-time Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics 2008 and 2012. Eugenia is the only two-time Olympic champion in all-around in the history of rhythmic gymnastics, the third in the history of rhythmic gymnastics, the three-time world champion in all-around, and the multiple world and European champion in individual types of all-around.
In addition, on December 10 and 11, 2017, master classes of the famous coach and mentor of the Olympic champions will be held Elena Karpushenko.
