This year, the world-famous brand The Estee Lauder marks the 20th anniversary of the launch of breast cancer awareness campaigns, better known as Pink Ribbon. Across the world, 115 million tapes will be distributed along with products from brands such as Bobbi Brown, Clinique, LA MER and others, part of the proceeds of which will go to finance research and the production of educational literature. It is worth recalling that the initiator of the campaign in 1992 was Evelyn Lauder, the wife of the son of Este Lauder, the founder of the cosmetics concern. She herself managed to recover from this ailment, and the pink ribbon became for all women of the world and brand fans a symbol of how important it is to regularly visit a doctor to fight the ailment in the early stages.

Carolina herrera

Famous designer Carolina Herrera has joined the worldwide breast cancer movement. This fall, she released the CH Pink LOVE fragrance in a limited edition presented in the Middle East by the Faces department store chain. The release of the novelty is a kind of support for the campaign “Fighting, but with a Smile”, established by Carolina Herrera House and aimed at combating breast cancer. On this occasion, the fragrance bottle changed its traditional purple-red color of its “outfit” to a pale pink hue, and a miniature pink ribbon, an international symbol for the fight against breast cancer, was also added to the pendant made in the form of letters of the CH logo and hanging from the neck of the bottle. The proceeds from the sale of perfume will go to the account of the regional charity fund. A special booklet is supplied with the new fragrance, explaining how to conduct regular preventive self-examination.
