The largest emirate developer Nakheel, in collaboration with the Spanish hotel chain RIU Hotels & Resorts, will build the first all-inclusive coastal hotel in Dubai on Deira Island in Dubai. Upon completion, Deira Island will occupy an area of 15.3 square meters. km, thereby adding to the emirate of Dubai 40 square meters. km of total area, including 20 km of coastline. New hotels, serviced apartments, villas, shops and cultural and leisure centers will be built on the island.
As agreed between Nakheel and the RIU Hotels & Resorts hotel chain, the new 4-star hotel with 750 rooms will be located near major entertainment centers, namely the Deira Mall and the Deira Islands Night Souk.
