You are standing on the edge of the earth. Below you is a two hundred meter rocky cliff. Below, the waves of the Pacific Ocean are beating, raising a million white splashes into the air. You look at the endless ocean. Feel his strength and power. And gradually you notice how all your problems dissolve and disappear, giving way to the eternal grandeur of nature ...

I always feel such feelings on my long journeys, whether it is the coast of North America, the African savannah, the Kashmir valley, the lost cities of Myanmar or the caves of New Zealand. And for me, the further you get, the better.

But why are we traveling? Why are we so attracted by any trip, and having bought a plane ticket, we sometimes rejoice more than a happy lottery ticket? Why is this happening? Because any journey is fraught with new opportunities. Someone travels to lose themselves, someone - to find. But we all go on a journey to open our eyes, slow down time and fall in love with life again. And we do this not only in order to put another mark on the map - it is much more important to gain a new look at familiar things.

Travel is also a great teacher. The more countries you travel around, the more educated you will become. More understanding. More bearable. More open. More knowledgeable.

Recently, while traveling, tourist places have completely ceased to interest me, be they museums, ancient ruins, or any man-made structures. I like to go to local cafes, take coffee and watch people. Only in such places you can get acquainted with the real life of the city. And the locals will always tell you much more interesting than the most experienced guide, because they are the ones who can advise places that no one knows about. The main thing is not to be afraid to open up to the new. Walk through the streets on your own, feel freedom and find something that you yourself do not know about, but that may change your life. Isn't that what we're going for? Do not sit at home this summer.

Raise sails and sail out of your quiet harbors. Explore. Dream. Open up.
