The well-known Parisian department store Le BHV Marais with a rich history opens its first flagship store in the United Arab Emirates, in Dubai, in the vibrant City Walk, on March 13 as part of the international expansion of the franchise.
The exclusive Le BHV Marais media show was hosted today by Mr. Pascal Abhi, CEO of MEDS. It was attended by experts in the field of home interior, gastronomy, style and fashion.
Founded in Paris in 1856, Le BHV Marais is a subsidiary of the Galeries Lafayette and celebrates its 160th anniversary this year.
“The first Emirate branch of Le BHV Marais reflects the strong partnership between the Galeries Lafayette Group and MEDS and is a confirmation of our company’s confidence and faith in the fast-growing UAE retail market,” said Abhi.
The store building is divided into two floors with a total area of 6 thousand square meters. It was designed by the famous architect Cristina Zanik, who ensured the conservation of the Parisian atmosphere and the uniqueness of the store using wood and stone finishes.
Shopping becomes a fascinating journey in various departments of fashion, beauty, household items and gastronomy.
On the ground floor there is a beauty department, in which 30 of the most famous brands with a worldwide reputation found their home. Pavilions with the most fashionable handbags, jewelry and watches, which alternate with the latest collections for women, men and children, presented by talented designers and famous brands, are also located here.
The next floor is reserved for exquisite home accessories - from French cooking to living rooms and bedrooms, cutlery, table decorations and household appliances.
The gastronomic segment is a gourmet corner, where the variety of cuisine is represented by the wealth of numerous restaurants of the highest standard.
Led by renowned chef Russell Impiazzi, the celebrated Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet serves the gastronomic needs of his loyal fans and food lovers in the second branch of Le BHV Marais. Le Gourmet is the perfect place to treat yourself to a variety of international cuisines - from Italian to Indian, as well as delicious pastries.
Le Gourmet is also introducing the new “Grill” concept, which specializes in grilling and is created for the fame of meat lovers.
