Showdown Week Abu Dhabi will include megastar concerts, sales and the UFC tournament.

The long-awaited schedule of entertainment events for Showdown Week Abu Dhabi has been announced with a seven-day series of citywide events that will be held from September 1 to September 7 before the UFC 242: Habib vs Porrier tournament. This will be the hottest weekly program in the Middle East.
As there are only a few VIP tickets and hotel packages left for the UFC 242 tournament, the Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, organized by the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, will increase the level of the event by holding various promotions in the field of entertainment, retail goods and cooking, as well as an attractive party schedule on the beach and after parties held by major international nightlife brands.
The largest rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers has already confirmed that it will debut on September 4 with an impressive concert in Abu Dhabi, another world-class concert will be held on September 5, the name of the artist is kept secret. Both concerts will take place in the Arena, the new enclosed space of Yas Island.
More events will be added in the near future, but for now it is known that high-profile parties will be held by the pool at the Saadiyat Beach Club on September 2 and 3, a party in honor of the battle on September 7 and a whole week of beach brunches from The Edition Hotel.
On September 6th, Drai's Las Vegas will also host a pool party at the Fairmont Hotel, and in the evening, after weighing in as part of the UFC 242, party lovers can enjoy a trip to The Edition Club, The Annex.

In terms of cooking, residents and guests from other countries will not remain hungry throughout the entire Showdown Week in Abu Dhabi: more than 25 restaurants, bars and cafes throughout the UAE capital will take part in the citywide Knockout Burgers campaign, which runs from August 25 to August 7 September
On Yas Island and Saadiyat Island, exclusively for Abu Dhabi's Showdown Week, hotels and restaurants will prepare their own culinary offerings as part of advertising support to promote the country's gastronomic customs and traditions.
Shopping enthusiasts can also take part in the Abu Dhabi Showdown Week. Promotions will be held in the capital's shopping centers: Abu Dhabi Mall, Bawabat Al Sharq, Dalma, Deerfields, Madinat Zayed, Mazyad, WTC Abu Dhabi, Yas Mall, as well as in shopping centers in Al Ain: Al Ain Mall, Bawadi and Hili.
