Dubai, UAE. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) can take part in the reconstruction of the Gagarin Launch at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. This was at a meeting of astronauts who returned in June from the International Space Station, said the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.

"The UAE is very interested in everything related to high technology. At the end of last year, I met with Sheikh Mohammed, the result of this is the mission of this country in Baikonur. We are also considering the possibility of creating a joint business initiative for further reconstruction and operation." Gagarin launch. "Perhaps this will be a joint initiative with the participation of our external partners, including the UAE," he said.

Earlier, Rogozin said that the Gagarin Start at the Baikonur Cosmodrome from the end of 2019 will be put out for repair and upgraded to the Soyuz-2.1a rocket. According to him, this will require adjustment of the Federal Target Program for the Development of Russian Cosmodromes.
