St. Petersburg development implemented in the port of Jebel Ali

In the port of Jebel Ali, the installation of 50 full-height rotor turnstiles, which were designed and manufactured by specialists of the St. Petersburg company PERCo, has completed.

PERCo equipment and turnstiles have become an integral part of the new security system of one of the world's largest seaports, located 30 km from the city of Dubai. As the electronic publication Science and Technologies of Russia reported, the installation and commissioning of PERCo turnstiles was carried out by an Australian partner, the installation company ONE Security International Ltd, and the total amount of the contract was about 500 thousand dollars.

"Russian equipment for security systems is gaining increasing recognition in the world," said Vladimir Starostin, PERCo's development director. “The next point where PERCo access systems will be installed is Casablanca. We have signed a contract to supply 15 full-height turnstiles to the international seaport of the Moroccan capital.”

PERCo is a leading Russian manufacturer of equipment and integrated security systems. The company has a high-tech production base and 20 service centers. PERCo products are supplied in 69 countries of the world, the annual export volume exceeds 3.5 million euros. Jebel Ali Port, UAE is the largest seaport in the Middle East with an annual turnover of 4 billion tons. The port has 68 berths with a total length of 15 kilometers, which allows serving more than 125 sea lines.

The re-equipment of the port security systems of Jebel Ali and Casablanca is carried out in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code. The Code significantly tightened security measures, both on ships and in ports, regulating, inter alia, access control issues in the territory of ports.
