Diego Maradona will coach Al Wasl Dubai Football Club

The star of world and Argentinean football, Diego Maradona, has signed a two-year contract with the Dubai football club Al Wasl, according to which the legendary football player is now his head coach.

According to the official representative of the club, the winner of the world football championship and the owner of many cups, prizes and awards Diego Maradona, will begin his duties as early as next season. The value of the contract, however, was not announced.

This news was published in the press after the appearance of Maradona in early May at the Al Wasl club in Dubai and his meeting with players and club officials.

Al Wasl is currently ranked fourth in the Arab Emirates football league list. Maradona, who is now 50 years old, has not been engaged in coaching since losing his position as coach of the Argentine national team in 2010, when the Argentine team lost to the German team in the quarterfinals with a score of 4: 0 at the World Championships.
