Union Museum will appear in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister, Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, announced an initiative to create a new Union Museum in Dubai, which will collect documents on the main milestones of history and achievements of the country.

The museum will be built in close proximity to the existing Union House and the place where the documents on the unification of the United Arab Emirates were signed in 1971, and today the country's largest national flag, 20 by 40 meters in size, flutters. The emblem of the UAE will be placed on the roof of the building. The general architectural solution will symbolize the hands holding a pearl, representing the core of the unification of the nation. The task of the new museum is to acquaint all residents of the country and tourists with the achievements of the country and the prospects for its development, to instill a patriotic spirit in the younger generation. The exposition will also tell about the lifestyle of Bedouins living in the desert and Arabs who settled on the seashore.
