Swap meet

You can write a whole book about flea markets in Paris, because this is a real treasure for collectors and lovers of antiques. The best in the city is considered to be Le Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen, Parisians call it simply Les Puces (translated from French - “flea”). Here we will make three stops.

Chez sarah

Each item purchased in the "At Sarah" boutique has a chance to become a museum piece over time. This vintage paradise is located in the Clignancourt part of the flea market and is a constant inspiration for Parisian designers. Sarah Rosenbaum inherited the store from her mother, and that in turn - from her mother. In the boutique, among retro hats, corsets, jewelry masterpieces, all kinds of ribbons and lace, you can find clothes from designers of the 20s and 30s. Historic Art Deco textiles are also complemented by vintage linen, masks and even rare costumes dating from the 1870s!

Address: Passage Lecuyer, 27, rue de Lecuyer, Saint-Ouen, M Porte de Clignancourt

Colonial concept

Connoisseurs of non-standard home accessories will appreciate the iron gate store located a short distance from prying eyes on rue Paul Bert. Once inside, you will find yourself in the enchanted world of the Parisian interior designer Francois Deneck. A corridor with display cases filled with insects, corals and minerals leads to the garden and further to the open area. You understand on it that Francois is a master of mise en scene (fr. "Scenery for the play"). He specializes in taxidermy and creates stuffed exotic animals. Imagine a polar bear next to a piano and alligators lying by a typewriter - this is the philosophical cosiness of the Colonial Concept houses.

Address: 8, rue Paul Bert, Saint-Ouen, 93400, France

Au grenier de lucie

The store at Marche Vernaison was once owned by Madame Lucy, and is now managed by her son Jason Ellis and his wife Heidi. Almost all of the vintage jewelry in this store is signed by eminent designers, many of whom still make jewelry specifically for Au grenier de Lucie. Here you can discover jewelry from Chanel, Dior, Lanvin, haute couture collections from Christian Lacroix. In addition to Europeans, the boutique presents accessories from show shows by American designers such as Schiaparelli, Joseff of Hollywood and Miriam Haskell. By the way, learning about the "Russian Emirates", Jason was pleased to share information: it turns out that it is here that stylist Rihanna buys jewelry for a pop diva.

Address: Marche Vernaison, Allee 1, Stand 25

Jules pansu

Sleep is important not only in the "race" during Fashion Week. Surround yourself with beauty, and most importantly - do not forget about the bed! Jules Pansu Pillows are some of the best in the world. Monsieur Ponsoux opened his shop in 1878 at the Rue du Faubourg Poissonnière after he traveled all over Russia by train selling silk from Lyon. To this day, here in the original boutique, pillows and tapestries are sold, hand-sewn at the Jules Pansu factory from high quality cotton. But the most amazing thing is that the masters of Jules Pansu are the first and only weavers in the world who are officially allowed to reproduce the works of Pablo Picasso. Under the strict supervision of Claude Picasso, the son of a great artist, the company does test after test before releasing another line of pillows and tapestries.

Address: 42, rue du Faubourg Poissonnière

La clef de marques

Have you ever paid attention to Parisian students? Aren't they the most stylish? It is not surprising, because not far from the building of the faculty of French at the University of the Sorbonne there is a beloved outlet in Paris, representing more than 100 different brands. And although they do not like to wear recognizable labels, they often shop at La Clef de Marques. Here, year-round discounts from 50 to 70 percent apply to hundreds of items of clothing and accessories. Among the latest collections, clothes and accessories from Prada, Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, Dolce & Gabbana, Emilio Pucci, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Paul & Joe and Courreges can be found at ridiculous prices.

Address: 122/126, Boulevard Raspail, 75006

Anoki paris

The lovely shop on Saint-Michel Boulevard is not only loved by tourists strolling through the streets of Paris. In the boutique you can find handmade jewelry, bags and purses from young French designers.

Clutches embroidered with sequins - they like to wear to parties, - as well as earrings in the form of bees and dragonflies, are especially attractive. Bravo!
