The municipality of Dubai has promised to double the number of green spaces in the city.
The Dubai municipality plans to make Dubai even greener in the coming years by planting new trees, as well as creating a large park, said Dawood Al Hajiri, Director General of Dubai Municipality. He promised that in the next three to five years the city will become two times greener.
According to Al Hajiri, the municipality has not yet decided on the location of the future park.
“It will be a large park equipped with various amenities. We are focused on making the city more environmentally friendly,” he added.
