Musicians from all over the world will perform at metro stations in Dubai

The Dubai Metro will host a free music festival.

On Monday, March 11, Brand Dubai announced a free music festival to be held in the city next week.

From March 17 to March 23, the Metro Music Festival will be organized for the first time in collaboration with the Dubai Highway and Transport Authority (RTA) at five metro stations - Burjuman, Union, DMCC, Al Rigga and Burj Khalifa.

Throughout the week, 25 musicians from around the world will perform in the Dubai Metro to present the full diversity of musical genres.

Mona Al Marri, Director General of Dubai Media Office, emphasized that the festival was organized in accordance with the plan of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai, whose goal is to create conditions for the flourishing of art and music and cultures in the emirate.

“This event will convey the ideas of harmony and tolerance of Dubai in the universal language of music,” she said.

The music festival will be the next addition to the busiest cultural season in Dubai, during which the Emirates Airline, Art Dubai and World Art Dubai literary festival also take place.
