UAE Citizen Finds Supercar Stolen in Europe Using Instagram

Instagram helped the emirate find Lamborghini stolen in Europe.

Abdullah Alfahim from Dubai entrusted the car shipping company to transport his Lamborghini Aventador from Cannes to London. However, he later found out that he was the victim of scammers. The man who introduced himself as the representative of the company stopped communicating after the supercar was at his disposal.

When Alfahim realized that his Lamborghini had been stolen, he turned to Interpol, the European Police Department and the UAE Embassy in London, which set about searching for a car.

He also began posting on Instagram, where he has over 70,000 followers. Messages gained viral popularity, they were noticed by European bloggers and the media.

Thanks to the young man’s activity on social networks, the police were able to find a car in Poland - the attacker who had committed the theft forgot to cover a conspicuous car, as a result of which he was stopped and arrested.

Alfakhim said that after transporting the supercar to Poland, the offender planned to move him further to Russia and Ukraine, but thanks to Interpol, the Polish police and the embassy, ​​he was stopped.

Currently, the supercar is located at the UAE Embassy in Poland, with which Alfahim is negotiating further transportation to London.
