The only sandy golf course in Abu Dhabi is being turned into a multifunctional sports hub.
Al Ghazal Golf Club and Sports is undergoing a refurbishment. It will be built skate park, shooting gallery and other amenities.
The manager of the Abu Dhabi Airports said that, as planned, the only sandy golf course in the emirate will turn into a sports center.
Among other things, it organizes a one-of-a-kind paintball park, climbing walls, golf simulation rooms, a skate park, tennis courts, a shooting range, a football field, an outdoor gym and spa. There are plans to organize space for cycling, sandboarding and running.
"Al Ghazal Golf Club and Sports will be the most luxurious and exciting resort for sports lovers and families looking for active entertainment and relaxation after a long day's work," said Saud Al Shamsi, Chief Commercial Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports.
By the middle of the year, the resort should already begin work.
