Emirates Aviation University from Dubai offers new scholarship programs.
Emirates Aviation University (EAU), Dubai, has announced scholarships for high school students applying for undergraduate programs in business and engineering programs. A total of 50 grants will be awarded to students based on their merits.
The scholarship program is open to high school students from all over the world who are interested in continuing their studies in business and engineering at EAU. Using the grant, the cost of annual tuition fees can be reduced to 50%.
Applicants are required to submit an application on the EAU website. After confirmation, they can apply to the selection committee to consider the candidacy for the grant. Scholarships will be awarded based on the merits of students who have reached over 90% (or the equivalent in other classification methods) while studying in high school. The application must be submitted before July 15, 2018, and the winners will be announced in July and August 2018.
The annual scholarship is extended at the discretion of EAU, but the student will have to maintain an arithmetic average of grades of 3.5 or higher in order to qualify for a grant next year.
“We are pleased to announce this scholarship and are very pleased that we can help even more people achieve their educational goals every year,” said Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, Vice Rector of the University.
“We consider this grant program as another way to support the development of our students by providing them with the means to achieve opportunities. We have every reason to believe that these scholarships will have a significant impact on the professional and personal lives of young people over the years,” he added.
EAU has several other educational programs. One of them - The Chancellor Scholarship - allows graduates and students who have not yet completed their studies to receive a grant for 100 percent tuition.
