The hockey team of the Binokor club from Uzbekistan became the owner of the prestigious hockey cup in Dubai.
Dubai, UAE. The Uzbek team Binokor won the Dubai Mighty Camels Men's International Ice Hockey Tournament ice hockey cup, which was held on April 18-21 on the ice of the Al Nasr Leisureland ice rink.
In the final, which took place on April 21, the ice squad defeated the rivals from the Penguins team (Moscow) in a tense power game 3-1.
Dubai businessman Ulugbekhon Maksumov was the first to congratulate the winners. He supported the team of his fellow countrymen. In gratitude, the captain of the Binokor team on behalf of all the players handed a memorial pennant to the famous UAE patron.
“Binokor” is an Uzbek hockey club from Tashkent, who played in the first and second leagues of the USSR Ice Hockey Championship in 1973 - 1988. Since 2013, he is a member of the recreated Uzbek Hockey League. It is the oldest and most famous hockey club in Uzbekistan.
