Ras Al Khaimah Emirate from Dubai Airport will launch luxury buses

In the United Arab Emirates, a daily bus shuttle is launched from Dubai International Airport to the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

The Ras Al Khaimah Emirate Tourism Development Authority, UAE, has announced the launch of a new bus route from Dubai International Airport (Terminals 1 and 3) to Ras Al Khaimah - RAK Shuttle.

The luxurious service aims to help guests get to the emirate, as well as help UAE residents return home to Ras Al Khaimah from the airport. There will be free Wi-Fi, water bottles and maps on board the buses.

The whole trip will take approximately 45 minutes. One way ticket prices are now 20 dirhams ($ US 5.4).

The bus stops at all major hotels in Ras Al Khaimah, including:

- Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa

- Hilton Garden Inn

- Bin Majid Beach Hotel

- The Cove Rotana Resort

- Jannah Resort & Villas - Ras Al Khaimah

- Al Hamra Convention Center

- Bin Majid Beach Resort

- Rixos Bab Al Bahr

- DoubleTree By Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island

- Marjan Island Resort & Spa

When booking, guests must indicate their preferred pick-up and drop-off points, and then have a printed or digital copy of the reservation with them.

Haitham Matter, CEO of the Emirate's Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, said: “Launching the RAK Shuttle is another step towards achieving the goal of growing to 1 million visitors by the end of 2018. With a unique combination of authentic Arabian hospitality, pristine beaches and entertainment at in the open air we can invite guests to enjoy this destination. "
