Enoc warns residents of the United Arab Emirates against the services of false recruiters who are inviting to work for the company.
UAE National Oil Company Enoc warns residents that they may be the victims of a new scam that targets people looking for work in the organization.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, December 24, the company explained that fraudsters who act as recruiters on behalf of Enoc contact potential candidates and offer them to make certain payments as part of the hiring process.
"Enoc never asks candidates to make money transfers or payments of any kind at any stage of the hiring process," the company said.
UAE residents are advised to immediately notify the police in the event of such extortion.
