A grandiose safari park has opened in Dubai today

Today, December 12, 2017, the Dubai Municipality is launching a grand $ 270 million Dubai Safari project.

The new safari park has 2.5 thousand animals of more than 250 species. The area of ​​the first phase of the project is more than 119 hectares. They have Asian, African and Arab villages and an open safari village.

Thanks to its many entertainment programs, games and educational activities, Dubai Safari will become an important tourist destination in the emirate.

Hussein Nasser Luta, the general director of the municipality and other Dubai officials, accompany the media during a demonstration of the new tourist attraction on the first day of the opening.

Representatives of the media and invited guests at the main entrance to the park are greeted by a gift shop and chic gates under a glass roof.

Officials said the animals were given maximum care. Experienced professionals arrived from all over the world to provide the best care for the inhabitants of the park. The veterinary clinic, which will be expanded by a research center with a modern laboratory, is also part of a new project.

Officials said the park will have a breeding program at the conservation center, which aims to breed animals in the wild. The park seeks to contribute to efforts to protect endangered species.

In addition, the park will become one of the main environmentally friendly projects implemented by the Dubai Municipality.

An authentic African safari in closed minibuses and without barriers will be held in Dubai Safari. All animals are in natural habitat.

The park replaced the Dubai Zoo in Jumeirah with a 50-year history of about 1,000 animals, birds, and reptiles. Last month they were sent to Dubai Safari.

Dubai Safari is located at Al Warqa 5 on Aweer Road.
