Liquid transport brought under control in Dubai since June 17

New rules for transporting liquids in hand luggage of passengers at Dubai International Airport entered into force on June 17.
The Dubai Civil Aviation Department warns that under the new procedure no more than 100 milliliters of water, drinks, syrups, soups, lotions, deodorants and other liquid goods are allowed in carry-on baggage.
All liquids in the appropriate packaging (transparent plastic bag) must be presented for video monitoring. Liquid goods purchased at a retail store are presented upon boarding an airplane in sealed packaging with a receipt attached.
The restrictions do not apply to baby food and liquid medications necessary for the passenger in accordance with medical requirements, which may be required during the inspection.
Unlimited transportation of liquids is allowed in baggage, which can be checked at check-in.
