The Agency for Water Transport of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has opened a new route for water buses serving Dubai Bay.
The new route for the first time connected all three stations of the bay. Water buses to the route will leave from two end points - AlSif and Al-Sabha stations, daily from 6.00 to 23.00, with intervals of 15 minutes. The parking time at each station is 5 minutes. The fare on the route is set in 4 dirhams (a little more than US $ 1).
RTA also announced the opening of a night route in the near future, which will connect only two stations - the "Old Market" and Al Sabha, and will operate from midnight to six in the morning. A water bus will leave from the stations every half an hour, the fare is standard - 4 drh.
