A woman of Kenyan descent left her five-month-old child with a maid in one of the hotels in Dubai, promising to pay her well for this, and left for her homeland.
Colonel Yusuf Al Adidi, head of the Al Qusais police station, said the maid contacted the police after the child’s mother did not return for eight days.
The maid said that the woman came home only to sleep, and, as a rule, was intoxicated. She never paid attention to the child.
Police found a birth certificate. The baby was born at GMC Hospital in Dubai. It turned out that his father is a public person from the United States. In addition, it was found that the child has difficulty breathing.
Al Adidi noted that the child was sent to the Fund for Women and Children.
At the moment, attempts are being made to establish contact with the mother of the child.
