Passengers traveling by air from Dubai International Airport to London have been evacuated.
On Tuesday, May 23, a safety hazard occurred on board the Virgin Airlines BC401, flying from Dubai to London Heathrow Airport.
According to the representative of the carrier, passengers had to temporarily leave the cabin for additional checks.
Dubai Airports also confirms that Virgin Atlantic was delayed due to some threat.
“These additional checks were carried out in close cooperation with the Dubai police and the airline, after which the plane received permission to fly,” the statement said.
The day before, on the evening of Monday, May 22, at the Manchester Arena stadium in Manchester, England, an explosion occurred, which killed 22 people and another 59 were hospitalized. According to police, the attack was the cause of the explosion.
