Tabbah Jewelry House: Family Jewelry

For five generations, the products of House of Tabbah (House of Tabbah), a famous Beirut family of artisans and jewelers, are synonymous with professional craftsmanship and the finest craftsmanship.

Tabbah House was founded 148 years ago in 1862 by Joseph Tabba, who then engraved floral and geometric patterns on wooden blocks from which finished ornaments were imprinted on silk. Later, Joseph Tabba transferred his skill to engraving in gold and silver in order to later become a jeweler and begin to work on the design of jewelry.

Today, Tabbah House is an internationally recognized jewelry brand that manufactures custom products and uses a wide range of precious metals and stones in its products. For almost 150 years, the art and secrets of Tabba's craftsmanship have been passed down from father to son. Now the house of renowned Lebanese jewelers is led by Nabil Tabba, who inherited it from his father Najib in 1962.

During the 1920s and 30s, Nabil made custom-made jewelry of the highest quality with a unique design for customers from all over the world, including members of the Middle Eastern ruling and royal families, which made this jewelry house even more famous. In the 1970s, Tabbah House was one of the first to successfully work in the manufacture of conceptual jewelry. It was then that the famous Phoenician line was released, the design elements for which were borrowed from Lebanese culture and history.

In the 1980s, Tabbah House became one of the world's most famous buyers of large gemstones, including diamonds such as The Zale Light of Peace (The Light of the World), The Red Cross (The Red Cross), The Jonker ("Jonker"), The Ashberg ("Ashberg") and The Blue Lily ("Blue Lily"). 1987 in the history of the House was marked by the release of rings from the Beret collection, which quickly gained international recognition and success, and 1988 with the collection of expensive Saga watches.

In the 1990s, Tabbah House produced several collections at once, which were created using the latest design techniques and techniques. Among them, it should be noted such as “Collection Privee”, “Designer Collection”, “Kiss Me” and “Love Bite”.

Today, delightful jewelry from the “Designer Collection” can be found in two Tabbah stores in Beirut, two boutiques in Dubai, and the Boutique 1 multi-brand department store.
