Ukrainian company Interpipe receives pre-qualifications in the Middle East

The fast-growing Ukrainian company Interpipe, a leading producer in the pipe industry in Eastern and Central Europe, is strengthening its presence in the Middle East energy market by successfully passing prequalification from leading oil and gas regional companies. In particular, in the first half of 2010, Interpipe received pre-qualifications from the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Sultanate of Oman, Abu Dhabi Offshore Oil Production Company (ADCO), Egypt's General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). The product range covered by the pre-qualification results includes pipes for the extraction and transportation of oil and gas.

According to Fadi Hraybi, Director of Product and Resource Management, the successful pre-qualification of leading oil and gas companies from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is an essential component for Interpipeā€™s business development. "The opportunity to become a supplier for all of these companies in this region opens up new horizons, makes it possible to expand our customer base and improve the geography of sales. It should also be mentioned that Interpipe is included in the list of potential suppliers of the largest Saudi oil company Saudi Aramco," said Hrabi.
