Holy month for Muslims around the world, the month of Ramadan will begin in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, August 11, and Eid al-Fitr (Feast of Talk) will come on Friday, September 10.

According to Ibrahim Al-Jarvan, an astronomer, researcher and leader of the planetarium Sharjah, the crescent of the month Ramadan "will be born" on Tuesday, August 10 of this year, at 7:08 in the morning in the Arab Emirates, and will disappear after sunset on the same day. Accordingly, the next day, on Wednesday, Ramadan will come.

"The crescent moon of Shawval, the month following Ramadan, will" begin "on Wednesday, September 8, at 2:30 in the morning, and will disappear 14 minutes before sunset," Al-Jarwan said. - "On this day it will not be possible to see the crescent with the naked eye, so Friday, September 10, will be considered the first day of Chavval."
