It is worth recalling that the UAE recently passed a law prohibiting the maintenance of exotic animals, or so-called big cats, in private homes. Violation of the law entails a fine of up to 500 thousand dirhams (US $ 137 thousand) and up to six months in prison.
Currently, the supervisory authorities, together with the Abu Dhabi police, have calculated a villa that contains two lions. However, the owner of the villa claims that he sent the animals to Dubai before the arrival of the police.
