Song of the Dubai Fountain “Baba Yetu“ received a Grammy

Composing a melody for the famous Dubai Fountain, composer Christopher Tin secured himself a Grammy this year in the nomination for Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanied by Vocal. The song “Baba Yetu” from the album “Calling All the Dawns” went down in history as the first melody intended for the musical accompaniment of a video game, which won such a prestigious award as a Grammy. The melody was used in the popular video game "Civilization IV".

But even before getting international attention during the Grammy ceremony, Christopher Tin’s song “Baba Yetu” sounded on the Dubai Fountain show, which, thanks to this music, has gained millions of new fans around the world.
