Hilton Worldwide to open second Double Tree hotel in Ras Al Khaimah

The American company Hilton Worldwide, which owns and operates hotel and resort chains around the world, has signed an agreement with the Mohamed Ruqait Real Estate to open a second Double Tree hotel in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

It is planned that the Double Tree Resort hotel will open on the artificial island of Marjan Island in early 2014. This is stated in the message of the American company. This will be one of the first hotels built on this island. After completion of construction, there will appear luxury houses by the sea, floating villas and resorts, sports centers and a huge number of beaches.

The new Double Tree Resort will have 11 deluxe rooms in the main building and 45 luxury chalets that will be built directly on the private beach. There will also be two pools, a kids club, a wellness center and a spa. In addition, the hotel boasts two restaurants, a spacious lobby and two bars. Muhammad Ahmed Ali Hassan Rukayt, one of the owners of Mohamed Ruqait Real Estate, said: “Following the success of the first Double Tree hotel opened in Ras Al Khaimah last year, we are again ready to work with the Hilton Worldwide team to implement it new project. "

Hilton operates more than 270 Double Tree hotels and resorts in 23 countries. In total, the company has 53 real estate properties in the Middle East and Africa, whose total number of rooms is more than 15.5 thousand rooms in 17 countries. Recently, 7 new hotels began operating in the United Arab Emirates, 18 hotels in Egypt, one hotel and one conference center in Jordan, six in Saudi Arabia, one each in Oman and Kuwait, as well as 12 hotels in Africa and 3 more on the islands in the indian ocean. In addition, agreements were signed on the development of another 39 projects in the Middle East and Africa.
